During the event, Wyclef began to host and entertain the crowd and could be seen partying with CEO Joe Eberhardt at the Edition Hotel in West Hollywood afterward. At some point, Eberhardt was convinced to get on the shoulders of Wyclef, who then spun the CEO around before dropping him forward. The backlash against Travis Scott following the tragic crowd surge incident at his Astroworld festival has found the rapper under extreme pressure.  A rep for the rapper says Scott hasn’t stopped grieving since the tragedy  that occurred at the festival. Now, it seems protests against the rapper have begun, with a woman appearing outside of the home of the rapper. A week has passed since it was noted that nine people lost their lives after attending the concert. Because of that, a woman took a day to protest outside of the mansion of Scott. The woman held up signs that said, “Travis Scott lives here,” along with another sign that said, “You destroyed lives, you deserve bankruptcy.” The woman reportedly spoke to ABC13 and said, “It was multiple levels of failure, by the event organizers, the performers, officials.” She continued by saying, “Local city ordinances and permits were clearly overlooked, security protocols were clearly not implemented when this was declared a mass casualty in

Police have arrested the woman they think is responsible for the heinous execution-style murder which took place earlier this year in Brooklyn, New York City.  Claudia Banton, 42, was arrested in Jacksonville, FL for her role in the Aug. 4 death of Delia Johnson, also 42. In a tweet announcing the arrest, NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea wrote, "You can run, but the long arm of the law will find you. The woman responsible for the August 4th murder of a #Brooklyn woman has been apprehended by our partners in Jacksonville, Florida." Banton will be extradited back to New York where she will face unspecified charges. 

A restaurant manager's TikTok video, in which she describes having soup thrown in her face by an angry customer, is going viral. The incident was also  captured on surveillance video . The interaction took place on the afternoon of Nov. 7 at Sol de Jalisco in Temple, Texas. Police  told local NBC affiliate KCEN-TV  that a woman first called the restaurant to complain about the soup she ordered. The woman was complaining that the soup was too hot and had melted the lid of the container it was in, according to police. Jannelle Broland, the manager who was attacked, said on TikTok that the woman had cursed at her on the phone, and Broland had offered her a replacement and a free meal. She also stated that it was hours before Travis and their team realized that people were sent to the hospital and had died as a result of injuries sustained at the concert.  Elsewhere in the conversation, Rawlings-Blake addressed claims that Travis Scott had the ability to stop the concert. She explained, "This notion that Travis had the ability to stop the concert is ludicrous. They have a 59-page operations plan, and it clearly says the only two people that have the authority to stop the concert were the executive producer and the concert producer. A concertgoers are reportedly suing  Travis Scott , Live Nation and Drake for the injuries they suffered while at the show. According to  Billboard,  in a petition filed Saturday in Harris County District Court, Astroworld attendee Manuel Souza sued Scott, as well as organizer ScoreMore and concert company Live Nation, over the Friday night incident, which left eight dead and dozens more injured.
